Use an umbrella if you are going to be in the sun for long periods.

Limit outdoor activities when the sun is strongest -go out before 10 am or after 4 pm.

Use sun screen even on cloudy or hazy days - you can still get burned.

UV (UV Natural Sunscreen) rays pass through your clothes . Although dark clothing is warmer to wear, light does not pass through fabric as easily as it passes through light-coloured fabric. Light weight, gauzy fabric doesn't protect you as well as tightly woven clothes.

Remedy for Severe Acne


When severe, acne can lead to serious and permanent scarring, even less severe cases can lead to scarring. Food doesn’t cause acne, nor does dirt. On the contrary, scrubbing the skin too hard or cleansing with harsh soaps or chemicals irritates the skin and can make acne worse. Acne lesions are most common on the face, but they can also occur on the neck, chest, back, shoulders, scalp, and upper arms as these are the areas of your skin with the largest number of functional oil glands. Acne occurs when the hair dead skin cells. A number of factors including hormones, bacteria, certain medications and heredity issues play a role in increased sebum production. · Wash acne-prone areas twice a day. Washing removes excess oil and dead skin cells. But too much scrubbing can irritate the skin. Use oil-free scrubbing can irritate the skin. Ingredients are neem (azadirachta indica), gulancha tinospora* (tinospora cordifolia), dried ginger (zingiber officinale), tree turmeric (berberis aristata), Malabar nut (adhatoda vasica), thriphala* (emblica officinalis, terminalia chebula, terminalia bellirica), snake guard (trichosanthes dioica) and yellow berried nightshade* (solanum xanthocarpum).

· Consult an Ayurveda doctor as a differential diagnosis from an allergic or eczema skin rash is important.
